Spendwise vs Procurify in one table
Both tools cover purchase requests, approvals, purchase orders and receiving. The decision usually comes down to three things: how each one counts users, what sits on the plan you can afford, and how much setup and support you want included.

Spendwise vs Procurify pricing, what each costs in a year
Spendwise is one of the few purchasing tools that prints a number. Basic is 9 USD per user a month with a minimum of 1 user, a maximum of 5 and 10 transactions a month. Pro is 19 USD per user a month with a 5 user minimum, a 50 user cap and unlimited transactions. Enterprise is quoted and has no user cap. The page lists no annual discount. Optional add-ons on Pro are an implementation package, inventory management, an Amazon integration and accounting system integrations, and none of those add-ons has a published price.
Procurify does the opposite. Its pricing page explains what goes into a quote and leaves the number out. Every customer starts with Purchasing, which covers order requests, purchase orders, catalogs and vendors, plus approval routing, budgets, accounting and PunchOut integrations, the API, SSO and an implementation team. Accounts Payable and Expense and Card are extra modules, and Guided Intake and Contracts are add-ons. The price is driven by those choices and by the number of Pro users. Buyer data on Vendr puts the median Procurify contract at about 15 000 USD a year, with deals from roughly 4 200 to 40 000 USD.
So the honest comparison is a known per seat price on one side and a quoted package on the other. For a deeper look at each, read our Spendwise pricing breakdown and our Procurify pricing breakdown.
Spendwise vs Procurify cost for 5, 20, 50 and 100 users
User counting decides most of the bill. Spendwise charges everyone who logs in. Procurify charges only Pro users, the people who approve, buy and run finance, while requesters and receivers ride free. That changes the answer as a company grows.
| Company | Spendwise | Procurify | Procurer, billed yearly |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 users, simple POs, no approval chain | Basic, 45 USD a month, about 540 USD a year, if under 10 transactions | Quote, typically well above this level | Team, 888 USD a year |
| 20 users, approvals by amount | Pro, 380 USD a month, about 4 560 USD a year, plus integration add-on | Quote on perhaps 6 Pro users, reported range starts near 4 200 USD | Team, 888 USD a year |
| 50 users, 12 approvers and finance | Pro at the cap, 950 USD a month, about 11 400 USD a year | Quote on about 12 Pro users, near the 15 000 USD median | Business, 1 788 USD a year |
| 100 users, 20 approvers, AP module | Enterprise quote, price not public | Quote on about 20 Pro users plus Accounts Payable, often above the median | Business, 1 788 USD a year |

The Spendwise figures use list prices with no add-ons. The Procurify column is an estimate based on its pricing model and public deal data, not a quote. Two things move the numbers most: the Spendwise accounting add-on, which nearly every company needs, and the Procurify modules you add on top of Purchasing.
Spendwise vs Procurify features that matter for purchasing
On the basics, both tools do the job. You can raise a request, route it, turn it into a PO, receive the goods and see the history. The differences show up as soon as you need more than that.
Spendwise keeps the product tight. Basic covers accounts payable, purchasing, receiving and reports. Pro adds approval limits and workflows, budgets, custom user roles, several dashboards and currency conversion. Inventory and Amazon ordering are add-ons. On review sites, most Spendwise reviews come from small businesses, which matches the 50 user cap on Pro.
Procurify is built for a bigger company from the start. Approval routing, budgets, account codes, PunchOut catalogs with Amazon Business and Staples, roles and permissions, SSO, MFA and SOC 2 Type 2, a REST API, 24/5 support and a customer success manager are in every plan. Accounts Payable adds bills and payments, and Expense and Card adds spending cards. Its reviews lean mid-market, and buyers often mention a guided implementation of several weeks.
If cards and expense reports are the messier half of your spend, it can be cheaper to run purchasing in one tool and give staff a separate expense management app that reads receipts than to buy a card module you only half use.
Which one should you pick
Choose Spendwise when you have 5 to 20 people involved in purchasing, your approval policy fits in two or three limits, you want a price you can read today, and you are fine paying an add-on to connect your accounting system. Watch the 50 user cap, because growing past it moves you to an Enterprise quote.
Choose Procurify when you have dozens or hundreds of occasional requesters who should not each cost a seat, you run NetSuite or Sage Intacct, you want SSO and an implementation team from day one, and you want spending cards from the same vendor. Budget for an annual contract in the 15 000 USD range.
Choose neither when the problem is the shape of the bill. If 20 to 100 people request or approve purchases and you would rather not pay per seat or wait for a quote, Procurer covers requests, approvals, POs, receiving, three-way matching and budgets by project and GL on the Business plan for 299 USD a month, or 1 788 USD a year billed yearly, with up to 100 user accounts. It exports approved bills as a file for QuickBooks Online or Xero rather than syncing live, and it has no card program, so a company that needs those should stay with Procurify. Our Procurify competitors comparison lists the other tools buyers shortlist.
Moving off Spendwise or Procurify
Most switches happen at one of two moments: a Spendwise team passes 30 to 50 users and the per seat bill starts to hurt, or a Procurify renewal arrives with a higher quote. In both cases the move is lighter than it sounds.
1. Export your vendor list, open POs and GL accounts as CSV files.
2. Import vendors and GL accounts, and recreate approval limits as rules by amount and department.
3. Let open POs finish in the old tool and raise new ones in the new tool from a set date.
4. Keep the old export for audit, because history does not need to live in the new system to be useful.
Most mid-size teams finish this in about a week. If invoice approval rather than purchasing is your main pain, read our purchase order approval software page first.
Is Spendwise cheaper than Procurify?
For small teams, yes. Spendwise lists 9 USD per user a month on Basic and 19 USD on Pro, so 20 Pro users cost about 4 560 USD a year before add-ons. Procurify sells by quote with a reported median near 15 000 USD a year. Above about 50 users, Procurify's free requester seats narrow the gap and Spendwise moves to a quoted Enterprise plan.

Does Procurify have a free plan or published pricing?
No. Procurify publishes what each plan includes but not the price. Every customer gets a quote based on modules, add-ons, the number of Pro users and integrations. Basic users who only request and receive are unlimited and do not add to the price.
Does Spendwise integrate with QuickBooks?
Spendwise lists accounting system integrations as an optional add-on on Pro and Enterprise, and its pricing page does not name the systems or the add-on price. Ask for the integration price in writing for your accounting system before you sign, because a team without it ends up retyping bills.
What are the alternatives to Spendwise and Procurify?
Common alternatives are Precoro, ProcureDesk, ProcurementExpress, Tradogram, Zip and Coupa for larger companies, and Procurer for teams that want a published monthly price per company with 25 to 300 users included. Our procurement software cost comparison lists published and reported prices for 13 vendors.
Which is better for a company with 50 employees?
It depends on how many of the 50 touch purchasing. If all 50 request or approve, Spendwise Pro sits at its cap at about 11 400 USD a year, and Procurify charges only for approvers and finance. If 10 to 15 people are involved, Spendwise is usually cheaper. A per company plan such as Procurer Business costs 1 788 USD a year billed yearly at any of those counts.
