How much does Ramp procurement cost?
The figures below come from Ramp's pricing page, read in October 2026, and from Vendr's buyer data for Ramp. Ramp lists three plans and sells procurement as an add-on on the two paid ones.
| Item | Published price | What it means for procurement |
|---|---|---|
| Ramp Free | 0 USD per user a month | Cards, expenses and bill pay basics; the procurement add-on is not available |
| Ramp Plus | 15 USD per user a month plus a platform fee based on team size, 20 percent off billed annually | The lowest plan that can carry the procurement add-on |
| Ramp Enterprise | Custom, annual billing | Quoted with the add-on, for larger and multi-entity companies |
| Procurement add-on | Not published | Priced in the quote on top of Plus or Enterprise |
| Reported contract value | Median 24 148 USD a year, range 11 448 to 63 548 USD (Vendr, 104 purchases) | Covers the whole Ramp contract, not procurement alone |

The platform fee is the line that turns a readable per user price into a quote. Ramp states that it depends on team size but gives no figure, so two companies with the same headcount on Plus can still receive different numbers.
What you get with Ramp procurement
The procurement add-on extends Ramp's spend platform from cards and bills into purchasing. Ramp lists these capabilities for it:
- Custom intake and approval workflows, with advanced intake and approval workflows on top.
- AI driven vendor compliance reviews before a new supplier is approved.
- Automated purchase order creation and tracking.
- Three-way match with Ramp purchase orders.
- Matching card transactions to purchase orders.
The design assumes your company already runs cards, reimbursements and bill pay in Ramp. Procurement then sits on the same vendor records and the same approval engine, which is the main reason Ramp customers add it.
What drives the Ramp procurement cost per year
Five things decide what you actually pay. Vendr lists the first four as the main price drivers for Ramp contracts.
1. Active cardholder count. Plus is priced per user, so every employee who holds a card or submits expenses counts toward the seat total.
2. Tier and feature set. Procurement, advanced integrations such as NetSuite, custom workflows and multi-entity support are priced on top of the base plan.
3. Monthly spend volume. Vendr notes that spend running through Ramp shapes the commercial terms.
4. Contract term and implementation. Annual billing saves 20 percent on Plus, and longer terms or onboarding help change the quote.
5. Who counts as a procurement user. On the Ramp Community forum in September 2024, a customer who had used Ramp Procurement since February 2024 wrote that the module was priced on the total number of Ramp users rather than the much smaller number of people using procurement, and that this pushed it over budget, so the company was dropping the module. Ask your Ramp rep how the add-on is counted today before you sign.
Point five matters more than it looks. A company with 200 cardholders and 40 people who raise or approve purchase orders pays for procurement as if all 200 used it, if that counting still applies.
What three companies would pay for purchasing in the first year
The Ramp column shows only what can be computed from the published Plus price, billed annually. The platform fee and the procurement add-on come on top and are not published. Procurer is priced per company with user accounts included, so only people who request, approve or receive goods need an account.
| Company | Ramp users | People who request, approve or receive | Ramp Plus seats, billed annually, before platform fee and add-on | Procurer plan, billed yearly |

These rows are not a like for like comparison. Ramp Plus includes corporate cards, expense management and bill pay, which Procurer does not. The useful question is narrower: what does the purchasing workflow cost you? If cards already work for you on Ramp Free, a separate purchasing tool can cost less than moving every cardholder to Plus to unlock the add-on.

Procurer runs purchase requests with the remaining department budget shown, approval rules by amount and department on every plan, POs emailed to suppliers, line by line receiving, and three-way matching with tolerances from Business. See purchase order software and three way match software for how each step works.
When Ramp procurement is the right buy
Ramp procurement makes sense when most of these are true.
- Your company already pays for Ramp Plus or Enterprise for cards and bill pay, so the seat cost is sunk.
- Much of your purchasing goes through cards rather than supplier invoices, and matching card transactions to POs is the main gap.
- You want one vendor record and one approval engine for cards, bills and POs.
It is a weaker fit when your spend is mostly supplier invoices on net 30 terms, when far fewer people buy than hold cards, or when you want a price you can see before a sales call. Many companies keep their card program where it is and run purchasing in a separate tool that exports matched bills to the ledger. If those card and bank statements still have to reach QuickBooks by hand, you can convert the statement into a QuickBooks QBO file and keep the books current while purchasing runs in its own system.
How much does Ramp procurement cost?
Ramp does not publish a price for procurement. It is an add-on to Ramp Plus, which costs 15 USD per user a month plus a platform fee based on team size, or to Ramp Enterprise, which is quoted. Vendr reports a median Ramp contract of 24 148 USD a year, with a range of 11 448 to 63 548 USD.

Is Ramp procurement included in the free plan?
No. Ramp lists procurement as an add-on to Plus or Enterprise only. The Free plan at 0 USD per user covers cards, expenses and basic bill pay, so a company that wants Ramp purchase orders has to move to Plus first and then add procurement on top.
Is Ramp procurement priced per user?
Ramp Plus is priced per user, and a Ramp customer wrote on the Ramp Community in September 2024 that the procurement module was priced on all Ramp users rather than only procurement users. Ramp's pricing page does not state how the add-on is counted today, so confirm it in writing before signing.
What is a cheaper alternative to Ramp procurement?
For purchasing alone, Procurer costs 888 to 7 788 USD a year billed yearly per company, with user accounts included and no platform fee. Spendwise charges 9 to 19 USD per user a month for simpler approvals. If you also need cards and expenses from the same vendor, compare Ramp with Procurify instead.
